Kitty Kitty famousness

So every once and a while, this kitty gets out to do some acting of sorts. In this case, this kitty is going to be in "Four Christmases" a (I'm assuming) romantic comedy featuring Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn.

So in case you see me around town wearing something crazy or avoiding eye contact, i still heart you - i'm just on set :)

and because i can,

Wicked, the Musical!

I am completely obsessed with Wicked.

Ah, the songs, the dances (Guh-lenda's lil hair flip is the best!) and the snobbery :P

One of the songs stuck in my head right now is: "I'm Not That Girl" –sung by Elphaba

Lyrics (with fav parts in purple):
Hands touch, eyes meet
Sudden silence, sudden heat
Hearts leap in a giddy whirl
He could be that boy
But I'm not that girl.

Don't dream too far
Don't lose sight of who you are
Don't remember that rush of joy
He could be that boy
I'm not that girl

Ev'ry so often we long to steal
To the land of what-might-have-been
But that doesn't soften the ache we feel
When reality sets back in

Blithe smile, lithe limb
She who's winsome, she wins him
Gold hair with a gentle curl
That's the girl he chose
And Heaven knows
I'm not that girl:

Don't wish, don't start
Wishing only wounds the heart
I wasn't born for the rose and the pearl
There's a girl I know
He loves her so
I'm not that girl.

Lazy Saturday. . .

Good times.

I think I'll just take it easy today - do some laundry, work on some real work remotely and work on a new set of stories/letters (more on that later).

Happy Saturday! (Enjoy that left-over turkey!)

Black Friday. . .

I didn't brave the crowds today at Black Friday (something in my lil kitty-brain sez its not worth braving a 2 hour line for 10$ off a shirt) - but i did get some quality time walking around some local neighborhoods and doodling in cafes.

Sometimes we all need a bit of fresh air, a good burger and some time to put some ink on paper.

miao!
